Located in the center of Montana, it is a perfect mixture of plains and mountains. Native grasses cover the range land and the Crazy Mountains, Little Belts and Snowy Mountains are only a short drive away. Harlowton sits almost equal distances from Billings, Bozeman, and Great Falls. Highway 191 and Highway 12 intersect in Harlowton. Education - Area Schools

Harlowton High School, home of the engineers, educates students from 7th to 12th grade. The student body hovers around 100 students and competes in Montana Class C for athletic sports which include football, basketball, volleyball and track. The school also offers clubs such as Band, Choir, FFA, FCCLA, National Honor Society, and Speech & Debate.
